Dallas founded the company in 1983 to develop and implement solid, holistic financial plans. His approach is sophisticated, yet pragmatic. He keeps a constant eye on the multi-disciplinary aspects of investment strategy and tax-efficient financial planning with a goal to make money management understandable. He strives to build confidence – through trust – to replace fear and doubt.
His choice of career path was quite personal: after graduating BENTLEY COLLEGE and working for a large Boston financial services firm, he noticed that his family and friends were not getting the kind of help they needed to plan well for their financial future. He recognized that with extensive training, he could help people take advantage of various opportunities to better prepare for their future. He truly loves what he does.
In his quest to never stop learning, instilled in him by his single-parent Mom – an elementary school teacher - Dallas’s academic credentials include being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Admitted to Practice Before the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, Chartered Life Underwriter™ and Chartered Financial Consultant™. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial.
Dallas is very active in his profession. He has been an Arbitration Panelist and Chairman for FINRA’s Large and Complex Case Pool since 1990. Since 2010 he was Item Writing Group Leader for the CFP BOARD national certification exam and in 2015 was appointed to the CFP BOARD Council on Examinations – a group of 7 CFP® professionals responsible for the development, administration and scoring of the exam consistent with best practices in high stakes testing and certification organizations. He also serves as Subject Matter Expert and Tax Specialist for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam and Test Specification, administered by PROMETRIC, INC. to individuals seeking to become Admitted to Practice Before the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.
Dallas resides in North Reading with his wife Lyn. They thoroughly enjoy time with family (especially grandchildren), entertaining, cooking great meals as often as possible -- and are proud to serve as first responders on the snow for the NATIONAL SKI PATROL.
